Margaret, past post mistress of the village stores in Goostrey, passed away peacefully at Macclesfield Hospital on 27th December 2022 aged 100 years. She was the beloved Wife of the late George, devoted Mum of the late Robert and cherished Grandma to Leyla and Sam. The funeral service will take place at St Luke’s Church, Goostrey on Wednesday 18th January 2023 at 1:30pm, followed by interment in the churchyard. Donations if desired to Diabetes UK or the Royal British Legion. Black clothing with a touch of colour welcome.
